Jovial June…

As May has rolled into June and the ‘summer sun’ has started to show itself a little more regularly in St Andrews, we’ve got a whole host of events happening around the world run by our alumni clubs and the University! Here’s what’s coming up:

Friday 6 June, 7pm, LONDON ALUMNI CLUB Join the Alumni Club for a celebration of it’s Golden Anniversary with a special ceilidh evening in Shoreditch! The Club was founded in 1954 and to mark our 60th birthday we’re organising “Ceilidh Club’ on Friday 6th June at the fantastic venue of Kachette, 347 Old Street, EC1V 9LP. Tickets available on the door:

– a modern ceilidh between 7pm and 11pm provided by Licence to Ceilidh: London’s Top Ceilidh Band.
– welcome drink on arrival, with further drinks available from a pop-up bar all evening
– DJ from 11pm – 1am

Saturday 7 June, 4pm, NEW YORK ALUMNI CLUB Please join us for an afternoon of Pimms and tea sandwiches couples with a lively Scottish Country Dance party led by the organizers of the Scottish Ball. The Party will take place in the church’s beautiful garden and Dreasel Hall. Please feel free to bring friends and enjoy the kick off to summer! This is our last major event before summer so you don’t want to miss out!

Tickets: $35, inclusive of unlimited Pimms and sandwiches
